April

Emma ready for church. She has a bright future!

Emma LOVES to imitate absolutely everything! Daddy had to put a screw back in the recliner, so she was right there to help. She has been fixing things right and left since them.

I'd like to see daddy try to fix the chair this way!

We bought Emma a swing set because she absolutely loves to swing and slide. It is hard to imagine all these pieces assembled!

Who needs an incline?? Emma had a great time with the slide this way.

It's a work in progress....

Pap and Emma take a break from helping Daddy to head to the mailbox.

OK - this shot is worth a million - YES - those are the DIRECTIONS!!!!

It's coming along...

Emma couldn't wait to try it out.

Her first slide once it was in place.

LOVE the smile!

Mostly finished here...

Checking out her new playhouse.

The finished product: BEAUTIFUL! Very nice job Daddy!

Emma and daddy with Easter baskets from grandma and pappy Ludwig and Uncle Weas and Aunt Miranda.

Emma making coffee for her Pappy.

We have a gorgeous view at our house, and I caught this full rainbow.

Emma discovered the joys of sidewalk chalk with our neighbor Sarah, so we had to get some for home. Daddy making 'Flat Emma'.

Emma is trying very hard to sit the same way her daddy is. She works very hard to try to get it right, and it is quite funny to watch.

I think there was more chalk on her butt than the sidewalk!

Emma helped bake peanut butter blossom cookies from scratch today. Emma helped pour in the ingredients and mix it up, as well as rolling the cookies in sugar before baking them.
She also helped unwrap the Hershey's kisses - pure torture for our little chocoholic, but she did very well and didn't try to sneak any until they were almost all done! Much better than daddy did!

Digging into the goodies! Emma chews off the kiss, then passes the cookie off to daddy! Smart girl!
